To improve the future of the catering industry, EPCAS and Stenden Hotel Management School are working together to develop a catering minor which will cover different work fields within the catering branch.
MAIN REASONS FOR SETTING UP THIS MINOR ARE:
- To professionalize the catering industry
- To put catering on the map
- To create a direct link between the industry and young talents
- There is a need from the industry for this minor; 15% of hospitality graduates is working in the catering industry and there is high demand from the industry for hospitality professionals
We have divided the catering branch into four focus areas, on which the minor needs to focus; Contract catering, Travel catering, Venue Events catering, Care catering.
